This will keep the guests talking about the time they had for a long time to come. You will also want to make sure that the entertainment is appropriate to the guests that are there.

It is important to keep them interested while they are supporting your event and with the right entertainment, you will have great response.

9.  Write down a plan/ time line for the event to keep things moving smoothly.

You need to make sure that you have everything under control.

When traveling make sure you call the airlines or go online to check to see if there is a charge for luggage.  

Many people  bought new luggage to fit the requirements of the airlines of on board carry on and check-in luggage.

I was surprise when I check-in with Spirit Airlines with their size luggage requirements.

The small luggage on wheelsluggageonwheels so many travelers bought to not be subject to heavy or large luggage is now too large.     

Although my bag was below the 40 lbs weight requirement (33 lbs to be exact) I was still told my bag was too big and I had to check it in and pay $55 charge.

Each airline is different so call or check online before traveling so you won’t be surprise at the check-in.

(Spirit Airlines) Checked bags: Maximum of 62 linear inches (length + width + height; 158 cm) including handles and wheels and maximum of 40 pounds in weight (18.1 kg). Any bag that exceeds these dimensions or weight limit is considered oversized/overweight and has a corresponding charge. Unfortunately, we cannot accept bags that weigh more than 99 pounds (45 kg) or that measure more than 80 linear inches (203 cm) in overall dimensions.

The airline states to keep prices low for everyone, we charge for carry-ons and checked bags. We charge more for checked bags over 40 lbs. This is because the added weight requires more gas for the plane. One personal item that fits in the smaller sizer box (like a small backpack) is included with your ticket. Another personal item or anything larger like a standard carry-on or checked bag will need to be paid for.

Why Blog?

I could go on and on for days but for sake of you sticking around and actually getting through this post, I’ll share this:

Your Blog Builds YOU up as the expert that people will listen to and follow. Provided you have good content of course.

It’s funny how this works but immediately when you see someone’s blog you attach a sense of authority to it…. kinda like ‘Yeah this person is someone I should listen to and learn from’

So think about it…

If you immediately view the blog owner as a credible and valuable figure, how likely are you to spend more time and money with them?

Pretty likely right?

I share how this has happened for me.

I started my home business back when I was 26 years old! (shoot… I’m dating myself now)

I naturally look really young (thanks mom!) so when it came to presenting a business, people didn’t see me as that creditable figure.

So I had a tough time recruiting UP as they called it.

Back in 2010 I started a blog (I had no idea what I was doing back then) and I started blogging about my journey.

As the blog built up followers, I had people reaching out to me and wanting to join me in my business. These were people that were looking up to me that viewed me as a credible leader that they wanted to join and learn from!

I couldn’t believe the power that my blog had in helping my grow my business!

When I picked up the phone to talk to my blog leads, people treated me like a celebrity on the phone…. They were so excited to hear from me and, what was even more exciting, they were basically ready to get started without me having to spend too much time with them!

I mean…. who doesn’t want to join a celebrity in Business…. LOL

Sidenote: People may see my as a celebrity, but I’m really just a normal gal that loves the simple life :-) Flip flops and the BEACH BABY!

So after many years of dialing in my blog strategy to grow my business, I now get to teach a ton of very cool entrepreneurs how to do the same.

If you don’t yet have a personal experience about your product that you can share…. GET ONE FAST!

This is one of the best way to share what you have. Your personal experience.

The cool thing is that if you share it once on your blog, you can use that post forever to share your story.
This is an example of my favorite phrase:

‘Working Smarter NOT Harder’

Do the work once and leverage it to have it work for you.

so when I’m on social media talking to a potential prospect and they start asking me about my personal experience…. I could type in out in a message 100 bazillion times

OR

I could send them to this blog post that I did and have my blog work for me. While they’re on the blog learning about my personal experience, chances are high that they’ll also snoop on my about page and learn about me and my story without me having to talk about myself.

Leverage at it’s finest!

3rd Party Income Testimonial

If you’re in a Home Business and you are building a team, this is really important.

You want to share a story from someone on your team (upline, sideline, where ever) that has a success story.

This proves social proof and credibility.

You can ask your leadership to do an interview with you or even just write their story on your blog (with their approval).

If someone reads that story on your blog and you’re the one showcasing it, they’re going to reach out to you and ask you how they achieved that success.

This is a great way for you to grow your business, but also a great way for you to showcase your team’s accomplishments.

Us vs. Them

Chances are you have some ‘so-called’ competition in your space that your prospect might challenge you on.

Have you ever had that where you’ve had someone say that they can get your same product somewhere else but cheaper? Only you know that it’s NOT the same.

Now what do you do?

Do you battle them back and forth and try to shove a whole bunch of facts in their face to try to win them over to your way of thinking?

OR

Do you feature a Post on your blog that acknowledges your so-called competition and explains in detail why yours is in fact better!!!

By doing this, you’ve now positioned yourself as even more of an expert and authority.

Forget the battle. If anyone questions my product I direct them to a post that clearly explains and acknowledges my competition…. even things they might not have known. By the end… my prospect is WOW’d and has a clear understanding of what makes us better and different.

Chances of enrollment after they see this post > HIGH!

Before and After

This could go 2 ways. The way I used it to grow my business in the beginning, was I did a post on what my future looked liked before Network Marketing and what it looks like now that I have Network Marketing in my life.

The other way that it could go is product based.

So let’s say you have a weight loss or skin care product… You could showcase your before and after using the product.

This type of blog post shares your journey and people want to relate to the people that they join.

It basically shows them that if you can do it…. so can they!

This also allows you to show that world how serious you are about your business and what your vision is for your team. When people feel the passion, determination and heart in what you’re doing…. they will be attract to join that bigger vision.

Training

On my blog you’ll see a lot of free training on how to grow your home business.

The reason I post this training is to help the industry but my main reason is to provide training for my team.

When I have a team members ask me the same question twice… I’ll do a video and a blog post.

Why would I want to repeat myself 1000’s of times with my team, when I could do the training once in a video, pop it up on my blog and share that blog post as training for my team whenever they that question or need help with that topic!!

Again… doing the work once… and have it work for ME 24/7 on my blog.

People can now rewind the video, pause or listen to it 1000 times over!

THEY will even get more out of being trained like this because most of the time when you spend more than 15 mins on the phone training, people forget half of what you said anyways!

Now they can rematch your training as many times as they want or need!

I love this part of having a blog work for me.
