How To Take The Headache Out Of Traveling



Preparing for your trip is important and can be very tiresome; to help eliminate leaving behind accessories that are needed for your travel start pack as early as possible oppose to waiting to the last minute.  

Take the headache out of traveling by having a bag prepared for emergencies on your trip as well. When taking a well deserve vacation or traveling for business, always be prepared by taking these digital accessories to help you make your trip easier.  

Fill a small bag with necessities such as allergy pills if you are prone to have allergic reactions to different foods or change of climate, sun screen lotion, and your prescription pain medication.  

Taking needed medication and other accessories may prevent you from having to search for items in a foreign place and hence taking away time from your vacation.  

Tickets and Itinerary

Make sure you have all of your tickets and confirmation numbers in a specific place.

Medication If you take prescription medications you need to make sure you have them clearly labeled.

You may get questioned about them if they aren’t in the bottle you picked them up at from the pharmacy.

It is a good idea to have a written note from your doctor regarding the medication as well.

Makes sure you have enough of it for the entire trip including any delays that may occur.

Bring along Sun screen lotion, any allergy medication you may need and other prescriptions you may need while traveling especially if you are traveling out of country.  

Follow guidelines of airlines and places you are traveling to in reference to how to package such medications.

If traveling for business or pleasure, it is important to take note of digital accessories that help make your journey pain-free.

Below are examples of gadgets you have to bring when traveling either by plane, train, or automobile.

Identification for Bags

Clearly identify your luggage so that you will be sure to get yours upon reaching your destination.

Too many bags look the same and many people are in a hurry when they travel for the holidays.

Place a colorful ribbon or colored tape on your bags if you carry the styles and colors that are very popular.

If you travel often you should consider some unique looking luggage that will stand out.  

Travel Checks 

Invest in travel checks to take on your vacation.

 If you lose your wallet travel checks can be replace unlike cash money.

2.  Digital translator

3.  Power Converter Kit

4.  Flash Drive 

5.  Ipad or IPod 

6.  IPhone and / or Sim Cards   



 Digital Camera

Bring a digital camera.

Choosing a camera to take on road is difficult.

For travel snapshots, choose a point-and-shoot camera that is ultra light and small but is capable of taking high-pixel density photos.

Check for cameras that also include image stabilization, face recognition and vestigial viewfinder for quick snaps.

Small ultra light cameras are perfect for slipping into a jeans pocket.

Digital translator

If traveling abroad, bring at least a 12-language global translator.

This will help you translate foreign words into English and vice versa.

This is very much helpful when you are traveling in countries where no one speaks

English such as Thailand. You may also opt to buy a high-end language translator that has speech recognition and a hand-held scanner for text input.

The latter may sound more efficient but expect an expensive price.

Power Converter Kit

Bring a universal power adaptor kit.

A gadget that enables our electronic gadgets charged is a very important invention of the 21st century for a modern traveler.

Electronic shops have an array adaptor that fit just about any laptop or USB device.

An example of this is the Tumi power adaptor that has spring-powered retractable cable and a leather-trimmed carrying case.

Adaptor kits are very affordable with prices less than $200.

Flash Drive 

Going to a conference abroad, bring a USB flash drive for storage.

Bring a mini battery pack.

The trouble with traveling with iPods or cell phones is the battery drains fast.

A mini battery pack is the solution that technology vendors offer for a more convenient and pain-free travel.

There are different iPod/iPhone battery extenders. 

To save money for cost of phone bills to call back home invest in sim cards and give your family members and / or coworkers the number before you leave.  

Ipad or IPod 

During long travels by air, train, or water, you usually need an activity for pastime.

Either you want to read a book or watch a movie. In this case, it will be advisable to bring a portable book reader and DVD player.

If you are into movies, better bring a portable DVD player. Nowadays, people download not only movies but also TV programs.

There are cheap portable DVD players that are less than $100.

Take note however that if you are buying a player for travel purposes; make sure it is battery-intensive.
